Cooking Instructions:

- Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F).
- Heat oil in a heavy-based pot and sear shanks for 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
- Add onions, garlic, carrots, red wine, and beef stock.
- Cover and braise in the oven for 3-4 hours, turning occasionally, until meat is fork-tender.
🔥 Slow-Cooker (For an Easy, Hands-Off Meal)
- Sear shanks in a pan for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Place in a slow cooker with stock, wine, tomato paste, and rosemary.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until tender.

- Sear lamb shanks in the pot using the sauté function.
