Cooking Instructions:

🔥 Slow-Roasted (For a Classic, Tender Finish)

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. Season brisket generously with salt, pepper, garlic, and smoked paprika.
  3. Sear in a hot pan for 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Transfer to a roasting dish with beef stock, onions, and a splash of red wine.
  5. Cover tightly with foil and roast for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
  6. Rest for 15 minutes before slicing against the grain.

🔥 BBQ/Smoker (For Authentic Low & Slow BBQ Brisket)

  1. Preheat smoker or BBQ to 120°C (250°F).
  2. Rub brisket with BBQ seasoning or salt and pepper.
  3. Smoke for 5-6 hours, spritzing with apple cider or broth every hour.
  4. Wrap in butcher’s paper or foil and continue cooking until internal temp reaches 90-95°C (195-203°F).
  5. Rest for 30 minutes before slicing.

🔥 Slow Cooker (For an Easy, Hands-Off Method)

  1. Sear brisket in a pan for 3-4 minutes per side.
  2. Place in slow cooker with stock, Worcestershire sauce, and herbs.
  3. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 5-6 hours until fork-tender.
